Edge node stops forwarding all traffic

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• NSX all versions
• Edge datapath stops functioning as expected and stops forwarding traffic
• NSX Edge syslog has a log signature similar to this example

Environment

VMware NSX 4.1.1

Cause

In very rare cases, the Edge may stop forwarding traffic due to epconn connection getting closed to NSXA.

Resolution

This is known issue impacting NSX.

Workaround:
Reboot the impacted Edge.
