  • Vxrail 4.7.525-26769857 bundle becomes available for upgrade in SDDC Manager UI Bundles page and Update/Patches tab even though NSX 6.4.8 upgrade is still in-progress on VCF on Vxrail 3.10.1.2 environment.

For more information, see: Applying vCenter Server 6.7 Update 3n patch on VMware Cloud Foundation on 3.9.x, 3.10.0, 3.10.1.x, 3.10.2

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.10.1.2
VMware Cloud Foundation on VxRail 3.10.x

Cause

This is due to the out-of-band update of vCenter Server 6.7 Update 3n patch which causes the upgrade order mismatch in VCF on Vxrail environments.

Resolution

This issue is only seen in the 3.10.1.2 release and should not be seen on future VCF BOMs.

Workaround:

To workaround this issue, complete the NSX 6.4.8 upgrade first and then the VxRail 4.7.525-26769857 upgrade can be triggered.
