Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Where two VxRail Clusters are created prior to be introduced to SDDC Manager and  Add an NSX-T Cluster workflows are executed consecutively for the multiple clusters created.
  • For the second cluster being added, the NSX-V Add Cluster workflow gets picked up in the UI instead of the NSX-T workflow.
  • The SDDC-Manager UI does not show any errors.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation on VxRail 3.9.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affected VMware Cloud Foundation for VxRail 3.9. Current there is no resolution, to workaround this problem, please see the steps below.

Workaround:
Post successful domain operations from the SDDC-Manager UI, e.g. Add Host/Add Cluster, any further new domain related tasks, the user should navigate to the specific domain details page from the 'All Domains' UI in SDDC-Manager.

For example.
Once the first Add Cluster operation has completed. Navigate to
Dashboard -> Select the specific Workload Domain to add the second cluster. Proceed to trigger the Add Host/Cluster workflow.

Or:

Navigate to Inventory -> Workload Domains -> Select the specific Workload Domain to add the second cluster. Proceed to trigger the Add Host/Cluster workflow.
