Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • When WITNESS network traffic does not have a route, the task "Configure Witness Static Routes on ESXi Hosts" fails in SDDC Manager.


Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.0.x

Cause

Routing is missing between WITNESS network and AZ1 and AZ2 VSAN Networks. 

Resolution

This is a known issue with VMware Cloud Foundation 4.0.1.

To allow WTS, routing needs to be enabled between WITNESS network and AZ1 and AZ2 VSAN networks.
