NSX-T certificate rotation task is failing in SDDC Manager with "Apply certificate to cluster" error

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• NSX-T 2.5 certificate rotation may fail with 500 internal error and with error message "Apply certificate to cluster" when CDP information in the certificate has CN value has white spaces in it

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.9.x

Resolution

This is a known issue and This issue is fixed in NSX-T 3.0.

Workaround:

To workaround this issue, please do do either of the the below:

1. Use a HTTP based CDP URI.
2. Use LDAP based URI that does not have spaces.
