Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
In VMware Cloud Foundation 3.9.1 or earlier, a PKS deployment may encounter the error folder “‘/vm/pks_worker_vms/xxxxx-xxxx-xxx’ not found” when creating a persistent volume on a Kubernetes cluster. 


Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.9.x

Resolution

This is a known issue, please see the section below to workaround this issue.

Workaround:
  1. Log in to the PKS Operations manager, and click on the "Enterprise PKS" tile.
  2. Locate the "Kubernetes Cloud Provider" section and change the "Stored VM Folder" from "pks_worker_vms" to "pcf_vms".
  3. Click Save.
  4. Navigate to INSTALLATION DASHBOARD -> REVIEW PENDING CHANGES, and then see changes on the Enterprise PKS tile.
  5. Go back and select "APPLY CHANGES".
