Issue/Introduction

This article provides guidance on obtaining and installing the necessary patch to configure an L3 NSX-T Stretched Cluster.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.8.x

Resolution

Download and Install SoS Package.

1. Download setup patch vcf-stretch-cluster-patch.zip attached to this article.
2. Using a file transfer utility, copy the above patch to SDDC Manager to /tmp folder.
3. SSH to the SDDC Manager VM, and navigate to the /tmp/ directory.
4. Unzip the vcf-stretch-cluster-patch.zip file.
5. Change directory to the vcf-stretch-cluster-patch folder:

cd vcf-stretch-cluster-patch

6. Execute the setup.sh script to update the SOS package.
