Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Attempting to connect vRealize Automation to a Workload Domain fails at configuring the endpoint.
  • In the /var/log/vmware/vcf/domainmanager/domainmanager.log, the following error may be seen:

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.7.x

Resolution

  1. Log in to the primary IaaS Model Manager Windows machine.
Note:The primary IaaS Model Manager Windows machine is the machine that has the C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Server\Model Manager Data folder.
  1. Open command prompt in Administrator mode.
  2. Run these commands in the same order:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Server\Model Manager Data\Cafe
vcac-config.exe RegisterCatalogTypesAsync -v
  1. Restart the workflow from the SDDC Manager UI.
