Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
- An alert has been generated in SDDC Manager.
- Once the triggering condition for the alert has been resolved, the alert is still present.
- Alerts raised in other software platforms (vCenter Server for example) may be cleared automatically once the triggering condition is resolved.
- If the alert is manually cleared and the triggering condition is no longer present, the alert is not re-generated.

VMware Cloud Foundation 2.x
Resolution
This is expected behavior on VMware Cloud Foundation 2.x. Alerts generated within SDDC Manager always have to be cleared manually.
