Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
After running the /opt/vmware/sddc-support/sos --vrslcm-redeploy or a vRSLCM upgrade, the newly-deployed vRSLCM virtual machine is not moved to the 'sddc-mgmt' resource pool in the vCenter Inventory.

Resolution

This is a known issue and fixed in VMware Cloud Foundation 3.9.1. To workaround the issue, follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Management vCenter Web Client and log in with the SSO admin account.
  2. Navigate to Host and Clusters and find the vRSCLM VM in the inventory list.
  3. Click and drag the vRSLCM VM object to the 'sddc-mgmt' resource pool.

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
This is a non-workflow impacting issue and only a placement issue with the vRSLCM VM.
