Issue/Introduction

VMware Cloud Foundation is an integrated software stack that bundles compute virtualization (VMware vSphere), storage virtualization (VMware vSAN), network virtualization (VMware NSX), and cloud management and monitoring (VMware vRealize Suite) into a single platform. 

When necessary, any issues that are experienced with any of the VMware products deployed by VMware Cloud Foundation, a Support Request should be opened under the VMware Cloud Foundation product in the Customer Connect portal.

Opening the Support Request under VMware Cloud Foundation ensures the appropriate GSS Support team is engaged and leads the support process through the lifecycle of the Support Request. 


Note that we do not recommend opening a Support Request under an individual product as this can result in the specific product team not being aware of the integration details contained in the VMware Cloud Foundation solution, leading to potential issues with workflows relating to the product.
