Issue/Introduction

As a first measure, when seeing warnings, we suggest to follow this article NSX Network Detection and Response - What to do when Manager/Analyst/Pinbox disk is full to free up as much space as possible.

Once cleared some space, if it still not enough free space, customers can add new disks to the appliance and extend the logical volumes.

Symptoms:
In some situations, customers might want to add new disks to the appliances just to increase the capacity.

In other circumstances, customers might see warnings when the appliances reach 70% of disk usage on any logical volume, showing a warning in the monitoring logs like this:
Filesystem usage of the data partition (mounted at /data) is 80.30 % of the total 86709035008G

Environment

NSX NDR -Lastline

Resolution

If we have planned to add new disks to the appliances just to increase the capacity. Please contact Broadcom support for following any further steps.
