[VCDR] Cloud File System storage capacity error

Issue/Introduction

Provide the process to reclaim the storage capacity within the Cloud File System.

Symptoms:
A VCDR Cloud File System when running low on storage space could be showing the error, "Cloud file system CFS_Name is running low on internal storage. This might result in downtime. Contact support."

Resolution

VCDR does daily scans to ensure the Cloud File System is sufficient in each environment, and has automated tickets created when the CFS breaks a certain threshold. If the Cloud File System begins to run out of available space, and the upgrade of the CFS is not actioned, please open a support ticket with VMware Global Support  with the request to perform a space reclaimation task on the CFS.

When filing an SR with Global Support, please provide the below information:

• Org ID
• Screenshot of the Cloud File System error

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
When the Cloud File System runs out of available storage, snapshots and protection may begin to fail until that space is reclaimed or increased.
