VCDR does daily scans to ensure the Cloud File System is sufficient in each environment, and has automated tickets created when the CFS breaks a certain threshold of 80% utilization. If the Cloud File System begins to run out of available space, and the upgrade of the CFS is not actioned, please open a support ticket with VMware Global Support with the request to perform a space reclaimation task on the CFS.

Consider reconfiguration of retention policies for larger sized Protection groups. Refer documentation here

Alternatively, manually delete PG snapshots if you know they will consume more space. Refer Delete Snapshots
