Environment

VMware HCX

Cause

The synchronization between the source and the peer IX/WO is broken and unable to communicate due to a temporary infrastructure failure.

Resolution

The sync between the source and peer IX/WO needs to be restored with the following.

  • Navigate to the Interconnect tab on the HCX UI.
  • Select Service Mesh selected for the migration and click on View Appliances.
  • Select IX and click on Force-resync.
  • If the resync fails, redeploy the IX appliance, which will redeploy the WO.
