Issue/Introduction

This article explains the troubleshooting steps when Configuring HLM fails at Step 2.

Symptoms:
Configuring HLM fails at Step 2: with the below errors.

Cause

Stale manifest.json file in the /tmp folder of the Cloud gateway Appliance.

Resolution

Engage VMware Support via Support Request with the error screenshot and log bundle of Cloud Gateway Appliance (Creating and managing Broadcom support cases)

Impact/Risks:
Unable to complete the setup of the Cloud Gateway Appliance.
