[VCDR] Recovery Plan fails with Cloud DR internal error

Issue/Introduction

Provide the resolution to the above error in order to perform a successful recovery.

Symptoms:
When running a Recovery Plan within VCDR, the following error may be seen, "VM_name failed recovery. Error: Cloud DR internal error. Please contact support."

Cause

This is caused by solution user workflow issues. Some vCenter upgrade or config changes (ex: vCenter Linking) can lead to the distortion of the da_solution user configuration and its permissions. This will lead to API communication failures for VCDR.

Resolution

If the Cloud DR internal error is seen when running a VCDR Recovery Plan, please file a Support Request with VMware Global Support with the following information.

- Org ID
- Screenshot of the error being seen
- Recovery Plan name
- Recovery Plan PDF
- Support Bundle ID

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
Recovery Plans will continue to fail until the resolution is actioned.
