[VCDR] Remove SCFS Instance

Issue/Introduction

Provide the process to remove an additional SCFS deployed in VCDR.

Symptoms:
A Secure Cloud File System (SCFS) is no longer needed in VCDR and is needing to be removed. From the VCDR UI, there is not option to remove the SCFS.

Cause

An additional SCFS is no longer needed and can be removed from VCDR. Unfortunately, there is no option to remove the SCFS from within the VCDR UI.

Resolution

File a Support Request with VMware Global Support with the request to remove an SCFS. When filing the SR, please provide the following information:

• ORG ID
• CDVX IDs for the SCFS that are being kept, and the IDs for the ones being removed (please clarify which ones need to be removed and kept)
  • The IDs are pulled from the selected SFCS in the web browser after https://vcdr.fqdn.region.console.ds.vmware.com/protect/#/backup-sites/summary/<CDVX-SCFS-ID>/. Basically select the Cloud File Systems tab, and then select each SCFS object and the IDs will populate in the web browser.

Impact/Risks:
No impact - SCFS is just needing to be removed.
