Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
On fresh or recently upgrade deployments you see a service type "load balancer" exposed for the CSI driver. The service is in a failed/down state.

kubectl get svc -A | grep LoadBalancer

Symptoms observed from the NSX ALB (AVI load balancer) UI:


Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.0

Cause

This service is an expected inclusion to vSphere 7.0 U3. It is used for viewing metrics for the new CSI driver included in U3.

Resolution

This will be fixed in an upcoming vSphere release.

Workaround:
None

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
Cosmetic impact. You will be unable to view/query metrics from the CSI driver.
