[VCDR] Error installing security sensor on Ransomware Recovery Appliance

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Recovery plan will be stuck in a "Starting" state
• The Ransomware Recovery Appliance will be unreachable
• The following alert will be seen in the UI
  • 
• log entries such as these will be observed
  • 

Cause

This can be caused by the connector being unable to reach the following URLs:

• content.carbonblack.io
• updates2.cdc.carbonblack.io
• dev-prodnrt.conferdeploy.net

Resolution

Disable or edit firewall rules to ensure that the following sites are reachable from the Appliance

• content.carbonblack.io
• updates2.cdc.carbonblack.io
• dev-prodnrt.conferdeploy.net
