External VPC attachment stuck in "Pending Update" state

Issue/Introduction

When attaching External VPC, you will see error:

HTTP Error 400: - AWS VPC Attachment tgw-attach-<tgw identifier here> is in PENDING_UPDATE state. Expected states are UPDATE_FAILED, AVAILABLE

Cause

This is caused by the "AwsVpcAttachmentsTrait" getting into a stuck state.

Resolution

Open a Support Request with VMware to address this issue.
