[VMC on AWS] Segment updated from Disconnected to Routed not advertising routes immediately

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
In SDDC version 1.18v10, when a segment is updated from Disconnected to Routed the routes are not advertising immediately.

Cause

Issue is caused when segments in the SDDC have an entry in the externalSddcRoute table as "connectivityType": "EXTERNAL_SDDC_CONNECTIVITY_TYPE_CONNECTED_VPC", but Connected VPC is not enabled in the SDDC.  Due to this stale entry being present when the Segment is toggled from Disconnected to Routed the segment CIDR is already part of the externalSddcRoute table and is not advertised again.

Resolution

Please raise a Support Request with VMware to have this issue remediated.
