Issue/Introduction
Symptoms: Cannot add VASA for the Storage Array from the vCenter given "The Specified provider URL is invalid". vVols Datastore Inaccessible state.
Cause
Example:
Adding VASA from Storage Array failed.
Can’t add VASA from the vCenter given "The Specified provider URL is invalid.
Curl command from vCenter to VASA Provider succeeds:
Openssl command succeeds.
Resolution
This issue will occur when the maximum number of sessions permitted on the VASA Provider is reached. This need to be checked from the storage array logs.
Workaround: The below steps should be done from the Storage Array Side not VMware side.
