Interface status UNKNOWN due to it's unmanaged state in SMARTS

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




Unmanaged interface shows status as UKNOWN

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

The interface status is UKNOWN since the interface is not on the SNMP poller to be polled for status or connectivity.  The status will remain UNKNOWN until the interface is managed and a reconfigure is executed.

Resolution

None.  This is expected behavior.
