How can I find out the port number a server is running on?
Examine the log file (BASEDIR/smarts/local/logs directory) and look for a line that says RSRV. In the example below, the server is started on a machine called foo, port 63989:
RSRV-N-DMSTARTED-Domain Manager jamesc_sam started on foo:63989
or
<BASEDIR>/smarts/bin/brcontrol will list server ports
