Symptoms:

DuplicatedBy relationship for the DuplicateIP object only shows 2 systems even though there are more

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

When three devices are added to the repository and all three devices have one interface that has an IP address that is duplicated by both other devices, the DuplicatedIP has only 2 systems in the DuplicatedBy relationship.

Resolution

Add all systems in the DuplicatedBy relationship if a system has duplicated IP.  Please contact EMC Technical Support to obtain and install patch:  G22650.SUN-ALL.IC62.20040719.tar.Z
