How can I extract the information contained in the "Impacts" tab in the notification properties of an event?



To see "Impacts" tab, you can type the following from <BASEDIR>/SAM/smarts/bin:
     dmctl -s <DOAMIN> get ICS_Notification::<Notification Name>::Causes

A sample run is below:
     C:\InCharge6\SAM\smarts\bin>dmctl -s test-SAM get ICS_Notification::NOTIFICATION
     -Switch_10.27.1.46_Down::Causes
     { ICS_Notification::NOTIFICATION-Switch_10.27.1.46_Unresponsive }
