Issue/Introduction
Symptoms: After tagging more than 100 virtual machines with customer rules in the Usage Meter web application, all the VMs don't get listed under Customers-> Audit->Mapped Virtual Machines. The Mapped Virtual Machines tab displays only selected number of VMs. This issue happens when we audit VMs part of Cloud Director orgs.
Environment
VMware vCloud Usage Meter 4.x
Cause
Currently, this use case is not supported in Usage Meter.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, download the VMH report and check the number of VMs as this report gives the correct reporting.
To download the Virtual Machine History (VMH) report of a Usage Meter:
In Cloud Partner Navigator, go to Usage & Commerce -> Usage.
In the display window, select a month for which to download the VMH report.
Click Download AllReports to download the aggregated usage data for all usage meters associated with the org you have access to.
In the downloaded archive, under the Usage Meter name and UUID, open the VMH report for it.
