Content pipeline failures while performing content management operation in vRSLCM 8.3

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• In pipeline status, you see error message similar to:

 "Error: Failed to commit, Error:Failed to auto-merge the branch with mergeId"

Note: while performing Multi Check-in operation

Note: While performing Pre/Post stubs.

 "Content Capture failed for [Orchestrator-Workflow/workflowName] [v2]
cat: /data/vm-config/symlinkdir/cms_capture_b034xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-0000-yyyyyyyyyyyy/packageTempFolder/temp/vco-00000.out: No such file or directory"

Note: while performing vRO workflow capture.

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.3.x

Resolution

To resolve this issue:
 

1. Take a snapshot of the LCM setup.
2. Download the file blaclstone-external-8.3.0,jar from the attachments.
3. Replace the blaclstone-external,jar from the path /opt/vmware/vlcm/blackstone/spring-common.
4. Restart blackstone-spring service, run the command:

systemctl restart blackstone-spring

Workaround:

To workaround on multi check-in issue, Perform single checkin.
