“vRealize Automation SaltStack Config download fails in vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
vRealize Automation SaltStack Config product cannot be downloaded from Customer Connect in the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager Settings -> Binary Mapping -> Product Binaries page.

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.3.x

Cause

vRealize Automation SaltStack Config product download is not supported via vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.3

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue:

If you would like to use vRealize Automation SaltStack Config with your vRealize Automation 8.3, follow the below steps:
 

1. Login to Customer Connect and download vRealize Automation SaltStack Config from here.
2. Map vRealize Automation SaltStack Config binary into vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager by uploading manually into vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager /data folder or by hosting via NFS server. The steps are available at Configure Product Binaries.
3. Discover/Add manually uploaded vRealize Automation SaltStack Config binary and Install.
