Unable to Upgrade NSX due to NSX Intelligence error on Upgrade precheck

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• NSX-T upgrade fails with the following pre check error:
• "NSX Intelligence Appliance is not migration ready. Please perform Intelligence upgrade operation to make the appliance migration".

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x

Cause

• This issue can manifest itself under the following conditions:
• Upgrade coordinator was upgraded.
• Pre checks where run and highlighted and NSX Intelligence issue.
• NSX Intelligence was removed.
• Upgrade co-ordinator was not upgraded again.
• The pre checks were still referring to the old API results.

Resolution

This issue is due to an incorrect workflow, see below for workaround.

Workaround:

1. Upgrade the Upgrade co-ordinator and run pre-checks .
2. After running pre-check, there the NSX intelligence issue will be cleared.
