Post NSX-T 3.0.3 to 3.1.3 upgrade, newly created Tier 1 Gateway not forwarding routing to Tier 0 Gateway

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Recently upgraded from NSX-T 3.0.3 to 3.1.3.
• Have existing Tier 0 and Tier 1 Gateways (GW).
• Newly created Tier 1 GW linked to Tier 0 GW, do not advertise routing to the Tier 0 GW.
• nsxapi.log file shows the following error:

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

The NSX-T database has an incorrect entry for the logical router port type, it is set to NULL, whereas it should be MULTICAST_TRANSIT_PORT.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in NSX-T 3.2.1 available at VMware Downloads.
