Datastore clusters missing when performing either a compute or a storage migration

Issue/Introduction

• When migrating VMs with the "Change Compute and Storage vMotion" option, the datastore cluster on the target side is missing
  .
• Right click VM > Select  Migrate > Select "Change Compute and Storage vMotion" for a VM > Datastore clusters are not shown.
• When selecting "Storage vMotion", datastore clusters are shown on the target side.
  
  

 

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x

Cause

The issue was caused by the SDRS checkbox not being shown.

Resolution

Select datastores manually when completing Compute and Storage vMotion.
