Certificate installation for vxRail Manager Fails

Issue/Introduction

You receive the below error when replacing the certificate for vXRail Manager on SDDC

ERROR [498bab8ff55065b4,da9f] [c.v.v.c.v.VxRailCertificatePluginService,om-exec-29] Failed to replace VxRail:######## certificate.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x

Cause

This might be due to changes done for the VM name manually in vCenter Inventory

Resolution

Revert the VM name change or contact Broadcom support services to update the internal SDDC Manager database with proper VM name.

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:

• SDDC manager does not get updated when there is a change on Host and Cluster inventory 
• Any changes made on vCenter Inventory will need to be made on the SDDC inventory. Ideally changes on VC are not recommended after deployments.
• Risk: SDDC manager does not find the changes made on the VCDB, which results in SDDC task failures.
