Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
Onboarding machines attached to a VLAN backed network in vRealize Automation fails, checking the deployment status the following message is displayed:
"Java.lang.RuntimeException: VLAN IDs can only be specified for networks of type 'Private'
The provisioning service logĀ /services-logs/prelude/provisioning-service-app/file-logs/provisioning-service-app.log contains errors similar to:

Resolution
The issue is resolved in the vRealize Automation 8.9 release
