/var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/catalina.****-**-**.log
12-Mar-2024 03:19:08.885 SEVERE [http-nio-127.0.0.1-5090-exec-17] com.vmware.vum.client.exceptions.GlobalExceptionHandler.logException java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while processing serviceId=com.vmware.esx.settings.capabilities, operationId=get
....
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: There is no ApiProvider found for nodeUuid:56#####7-####-####-####-a########299
        at com.vmware.vcenter.dsgw.vapi.client.NodeUuidFederationApiProvider.getApiProviderByNodeUuid(NodeUuidFederationApiProvider.java:155)

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x
VMware vCenter Server 8.0.x

Cause

vCenter Server does not have the API provider registration in Lookupservice of other vCenter Server. That causes NodeUuidFederationApiProvider of this vCenter Server cannot find that API.
