Changes of CPU Utilization OID in SNMP VELOCLOUD-EDGE-MIB since release 5.2

Issue/Introduction

Before release 5.2, below SNMP OIDs are being used for CPU util percentage response.

vceCpuUtilPct30sec               .1.3.6.1.4.1.45346.1.1.2.2.2.2


Since release 5.2, edge will fetch CPU load average to represent health stats, below SNMP OIDs are used.

vceCpuLoadPct5min              .1.3.6.1.4.1.45346.1.1.2.2.2.4
vceCpuLoadPct60sec            .1.3.6.1.4.1.45346.1.1.2.2.2.5


Notes :
1. Previous OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.45346.1.1.2.2.2.1 and .1.3.6.1.4.1.45346.1.1.2.2.2.2 will no longer be used.
2. CPU load percentage is calculated by

    CPU load percentage = CPU_Load_Average / Number_of_CPU_Cores * 100%

3. This will also be applied to release 5.1.1.0 onwards.

Environment

VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN edge releases above 5.2

Resolution

New SNMP OID for CPU load should be used accordingly, old OID for CPU util percentage is deprecated.
