VLCR snapshot tasks may be queued up

Issue/Introduction

Multiple Snapshot tasks for multiple Protection Groups (PG) gets queued up while the upload network bandwidth is available.

 

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery

Cause

One of the possible cause is if the some VM(s) are included in multiple Protection Groups (PG) for protection. In this case, when one of those PGs is in progress, all other PGs that have the same VM(s) included in the first task will have to wait until the previous one is complete. 

Resolution

To resolve the issue, remove those duplicated VMs from multiple PGs and only keep the VMs in one PG.
