VMware Integrated Openstack virtual machines shutdown after successful HA failover event

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Virtual machines are shutdown after a successfully recovering from an HA event.

Environment

VMware Integrated OpenStack 2.0.x
VMware Integrated OpenStack 1.0.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to the VMware Integrated Openstack checking the virtual machine state and seeing the virtual machine in a powered off state due to the transition from the HA event.

Resolution

This is a know issue affecting VMware Integrated Openstack.

This issue is resolved in:

• VMware Integrated OpenStack 2.0.1
• VMware Integrated OpenStack 2.5.
