Issue/Introduction

Identify version requirements for HCX deployment on VMware Cloud Director that have been upgraded to version 10.4.

Resolution

HCX brownfield deployments must be upgraded to the required version 4.6.2 Or 4.8.0 to support VMware Cloud Director 10.4.
New deployments of HCX require 4.8.0 to provide interoperability with VMware Cloud Director 10.4. Refer to VMware Product Interoperability Matrix.

Note: Only HCX 4.6.2 & 4.8.0 versions are supported for VMware Cloud Director deployments running 10.4.

For new deployments of HCX in vCD 10.4 private clouds, download HCX 4.8.0 Installer Build. Refer to the Broadcom Support Portal.
Note: User need to have an active account for the Broadcom Support Portal in order to download the build.

To obtain the HCX Connector OVA please refer System Updates section in HCX Cloud Manager service UI post successful deployment. Refer to the HCX user guide.
