How to export a modeled Datacom dataview.

Issue/Introduction

I'm using Ideal Source Transport Utility (IDUTSTRN) to export a modeled Datacom Dataview and receiving error message 1-IDSTDVWE02E - Dataview not found. How do I export a modeled Datacom Dataview?

 

Resolution

The IDUTSTRN program can only be used to transport sequential file dataviews that are created in Ideal, not modeled in Datadictionary.

The definitions for Datacom dataviews (and for modeled sequential file dataviews) can be moved with the Datadictionary Batch Transaction Generator (DDBTGLM) utility.
