Issue/Introduction

  • The MTU of VTEP interface on Windows Bare Metal server is hardcoded to 9k.
  • The MTU in uplink profile used for TN creation does not take effect.

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX

Cause

This is by design starting with VMware NSX-T 3.0.0 and later.

Resolution

Currently, there are no plans to change this behavior in NSX-T Data Center.
