DNS FORWARDER listener IP does not advertise from Tier1 to Tier0 Router

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
If you have configured DNS FORWARDER on Tier1 logical router and want to advertise respected listener IP to TIER0 logical router, then there is currently no direct support through knob where a user can advertise listener IP directly to TIER0 logical router.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

This issue occurs because currently, the advertise knob for DNS FORWARDER service on TIER1 logical router is currently not exposed. Without the knob, there is no way a user can directly advertise network to TIER0 logical router.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, add a static route on TIER0 logical router with network as your listener IP and next hop IP as TIER1 router link IP address.
