The last date that VMware will support or maintain software maintenance releases or bug fixes for the Analyst and Pinbox (also called the "All-in-One) appliance types. After this date, VMware Engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software. VMware Global Services will no longer be able to support the software or take inbound Support Requests for these appliances.
What is the EOL date?
The EOL date will be whichever one of the following comes first:
August 31, 2023
The expiration of your Analyst On-premises license (no renewals will be permitted)
What exactly happens after the EOL date?
After the EOL date, the support services for Analyst and Pinbox appliances will no longer be available. This also means VMware will no longer develop patches or hotfixes for these appliance types. The VMware Licensing Team will not be renewing the following license types tied to Analyst or Pinbox deployments:
Lastline Analyst API On-premise
Pinbox or Analyst appliance works just fine in our environment. What can I do after EOL?
To reduce the impact of this EOL, customers will need to migrate their Analyst or Pinbox appliances to one of the following alternative deployments:
Analyst -> move to NSX Detonator product
Pinbox -> move to NSX Defender product
