Issue/Introduction

Why does issuing certain TSO commands from a SYSVIEW VTAM user interface session result in the following informational message:

IKJ56652I You attempted to run an authorized command or program. This is not supported under the dynamic TSO/E environment.

Environment

Z/OS & SysView : All Releases

Cause

The IKJ56652I message is stating that you attempted to run an authorized command or program.  This is not supported under the dynamic TSO/E environment.  The explanation of this message is that you are running in an address space with TSO/E environment created by the TSO/E environment service.  You tried to invoke an authorized command or program, for example NETSTAT, using the TSO/E service facility.

Resolution

This function is not available in this environment.  You will need to remove the NETSTAT command from the TSO AUTHCMD table and secure it using the SERVAUTH class and resource name.
