In certain cases - information isn't shown in the commonsvcs logs (/var/log/vmware/vcf/commonsvcs/) unlike other SDDC Manager services. To find out more about what is happening - you can set the logging level to DEBUG to increase the log messaging for this service.

To enable the debug level logs for the common services - refer to the following steps.vi /opt/vmware/vcf/commonsvcs/conf/logback-prod.xml <!-- ROOT LOGGER --> <root level="INFO"> <appender-ref ref="rollingFileAppenderInfo" /> </root>
In the above replace INFO with DEBUG
Restart common services service with systemctl restart commonsvcs
It is best to enable debug logging before reproducing an issue and collecting logs or reviewing the logs after enabling DEBUG mode.
Then to set the logging back to INFO using the same, above steps.
