Issue/Introduction

Executing BSTXCOPY can sometimes cause the following messages to be issued:
C1G0700I PROGRAM NDVRC1 WAS FOUND NOT TO BE AUTHORIZED
C1G0701I ALTERNATE ID, ACMQ, ESI, ELEMENT AND PACKAGE PROCESSING DISABLED

Cause

The message can safely ignored.
The C1G0700I occurs because the Utility goes through common Endevor initialization logic.
It is however only Informational and does not stop BSTXCOPY from working.

Environment

CA Endevor 15.1, 16.0 17.0, 18.0

Resolution

To remove the messages use the following technique of EXEC via NDVRC1:

//BSTXCOPY EXEC PGM=NDVRC1,PARM=BSTXCOPY
//STEPLIB DD DISP=SHR,DSN=IPRX.IQUAL.CSIQAUTU
//        DD DISP=SHR,DSN=IPRX.IQUAL.CSIQAUTH
//        DD DISP=SHR,DSN=IPRX.IQUAL.CSIQLOAD
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//BSTERR DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUT3 DD UNIT=SYSDA,SPACE=(TRK,(5,5))
//SYSUT4 DD UNIT=SYSDA,SPACE=(TRK,(5,5))
//IN DD DISP=SHR,DSN=loadlib1
//OUT DD DISP=OLD,DSN=loadlib2
//SYSIN DD *
COPY INDD=((IN,R)),OUTDD=OUT
