NSX cloud account validation keeps failing with error:
"Failed to validate credentials. Error: Your certificate may be untrusted. To trust the certificate validate your account credentials and accept the untrusted certificate
".
When the user disables all SSL cipher suites on the NSX endpoint itself, it causes this issue
On the NSX Appliance enabling TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 and TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 will be sufficient for validation to succeed.
Note : User disabled ciphers on NSX which causes the issue, refer below KB to get more details on NSX Appliance CIPHERs
Disable/Update NSX T Manager's Ciphers/TLS settings
User won't have the flexibility of provisioning the network
