Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
While creating/editing firewall rules on an NSX-T Edge in Cloud Director, the "Source Firewall Groups" page will load slowly when switching between pages of available groups.

Steps to show the error:
1. From the Provider view, Click Edge Gateways in the left pane under the Resources tab.
2. Select an NSX-T backed Edge Gateway.
3. Click Firewall on the left pane of the Edge Gateway page.
4. Click Edit Rules.
5. Click New on Top.
6. Edit the "Source" parameter on the newly created rule.
7. At the bottom of the "Select Source Firewall Groups" page, switch to the second page.
8. The page is slow to show the output of groups available.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Director 10.4 and 10.4.1.

The issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Director 10.4.2, available at Broadcom Downloads.

If you cannot upgrade to VMware Cloud Director 10.4.2, please use the workaround specified in the Workaround section below.

Workaround:
When the page is in a loading state, interacting with it will cause the loaded entries to display.
