[VMC on AWS] Request the TRIM/UNMAP feature to be enabled

Issue/Introduction

To provide the process to request TRIM/UNMAP enablement on a VMC on AWS SDDC cluster.

Environment

VMC on AWS

Cause

By default, the TRIM/UNMAP feature is disabled in VMC on AWS SDDCs.

Resolution

To request the TRIM/UNMAP feature to be enabled, open a ticket with the VMC Global Support team: Get support
Provide the following information when opening these tickets:

• Organization ID
• SDDC ID
• Cluster name

There is no impact to the environment when the TRIM/UNMAP feature is enabled. 
The feature does require the virtual machines in the cluster to be rebooted to allow them to take advantage of TRIM/UNMAP.
