Issue/Introduction

Search option in workflow 'Add Edge Node > Configure NSX > Teaming Policy Uplink Mapping' does not work properly. It matches string and generates result once but if the search string is partially edited later it does not generate any result (see additional information for reference).

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX

Resolution

This issue is resolved in following versions -
VMware NSX 3.2.4
VMware NSX 4.2.0

Workaround:
Clear search string and type again.

Additional Information

There is no functional impact.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enter only string 'uplink', it displays two uplinks.
   
   
   
   
2.  Search with 'uplinkA', it displays one result.
   
   
   
   
3. Press the backspace key, it will delete 'A'. Type 'B', so now we are searching with 'uplinkB'. There is no result.
   
   
   
   
4. Clear everything.
5. This time type 'uplinkB', it will generate one result.
